I'm a former U.S. Marine, finance professional, trader, and yogi who believes learning something new should be exciting, not intimidating. And preferably involve a little laughter along the way.

My path into trading wasn't exactly a straight line. After the Marine Corps came a finance degree and a career in mortgage securities, where I spent years working with numbers, financial systems, and figuring out how money moves.

​

Then I discovered forex. And I was hooked.

​

I loved the puzzle. The patterns. The psychology. The challenge of figuring out what was really happening behind those little candles.

​

But learning how to trade? Good grief.

​

There was no shortage of information. Courses, indicators, strategies, acronyms... everybody had something to teach. But somehow, the simplest questions rarely got answered.

​

Like, Why does this work? What happens when it doesn't? And what the hell am I supposed to do once I'm actually in a trade?

​

Risk management, position sizing, and account management often felt like afterthoughts. And apparently, I was supposed to accept that figuring it all out would take five years. Yeah, no thanks.

​

So I did what I do best. I studied my ass off.

I pulled apart everything I'd learned, questioned it, tested it, connected the dots, and started putting it back together in a way that actually made sense.

I wasn't just simplifying what I'd learned anymore. I was building something of my own.

​

That became the Dealer Cycle Method — my structured approach to understanding market behavior, recognizing opportunities, and managing risk.

 

Today, I teach trading the way I wish I'd learned it: clear, practical, logical, and with an actual explanation of WHY.

Because you shouldn't need five years, twenty monitors, or a personality transplant to learn a new skill.

​
