Why I'm Doing the Double Your Demo Challenge

I want to show you something real.

Not a screenshot. Not a highlight reel. Not a "look how much I made" post with no context.

I'm running a live demo account — starting balance, real trades, real results — and I'm posting every single one. No edits. No cherry picking. No hiding the losses.

The goal is to double it. And you're going to watch the whole thing.

Why I'm Doing It This Way

Here's why I'm doing it this way. Because I'm so tired of trading content that only shows the wins. That makes this look easy and then leaves you wondering why it's not working for you. It's not working because nobody showed you the full picture.

Most trading content is a highlight reel by design — the platform rewards the exciting clip, not the boring, accurate one. So what gets posted is the best trade of the month, stripped of the four losing trades that came before it and the two after it. Watch enough of that and you start to think a losing trade means you're doing something wrong, when losing trades are just part of every real account, including the ones posting the highlight reels.

What Actually Happens in an Account

Losses happen. Bad weeks happen. Second-guessing yourself happens. All of that is part of it.

What I want you to see is how you move through it. How you manage risk when a trade goes wrong. How you stay consistent when it's not exciting. How the account actually grows — not in a straight line — but over time, with a real strategy behind it.

That "not a straight line" part matters more than it sounds like it should. A real equity curve has flat stretches, small pullbacks, and the occasional bad week that makes the whole month look worse than it is — right up until it doesn't. If the only equity curves you've ever seen are the smoothed-out, cherry-picked ones people post after the fact, a completely normal drawdown in your own account can feel like proof something's broken.

Seeing an unedited one, week after week, is the only real way to know what normal actually looks like.

The Whole Process Is the Education

This is the education. Not just the setups. The whole process — including the parts that don't make for a good highlight. The trade that should've been sized smaller. The day I almost broke my own rule and didn't. The week that was flat and boring and exactly what it was supposed to be.

Follow along. Ask questions. Watch what happens. If a trade doesn't make sense to you, say so — I'd rather explain a losing trade in real time than have it just quietly disappear the way it would on most accounts you follow.

This is what trading actually looks like.
